[identity profile] sparrow2000.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] buffyversetop5
The Costume Codex is a lovely YT channel run by a costume designer who analyses the subtext of shows through their costuming decisions. All the videos are worth a look, but I really enjoyed this analysis from a few months back of Giles’s evolution in the Buffy ‘verse as it is reflected in his clothing choices - Our Man in Tweed; a look at Giles through costume.

I mentioned discovering the idea of ‘reactors’ this year when I did one of my Classic recs post. Another one I’ve been enjoying is Georgia Corsby, who is a twenty-something Brit, who’s watching Buffy for the first time along with her boyfriend Aaron. She started reacting to Buffy earlier this year. The posting is intermittent, but I’m really enjoying their reactions and thoughts, especially Aaron, who really notices things. They’re about half way through S2 of Buffy at the moment.

‘Because it has to be’ by [livejournal.com profile] thenewbuzwuzz is a gorgeous pice of ‘stained glass’ art work depicting Giles in The Wish. Really lovely work as you’d expect.

Happy Few by [livejournal.com profile] brutti_ma_buoni. This is Kate/Lilah, not a pairing that readily springs to mind but brutti makes it work beautifully. The apocalyse has happened and Lilah’s looking for a little help.

Finally, a vid. I know I’ve done two vid posts already, but I literally just came across this vid this morning and had to post about it. Your Touch by ethereal. This is Buffy and Killing Eve. It’s not so much a crossover as a timeline. As the creator says, Fuffy walked so Villaneve could run. This is gorgeous.

(I think this is my final post for this year's [livejournal.com profile] buffyversetop5 as I'm not around much the next couple of days. Thanks as always to the mods for hosting every year and the participants for reccing such lovely stuff. As always, it's been fun.)
