5 Faith and Giles Fics (and a bonus)

A few shippy, a couple gen, all delicious.

1. Hope is the Thing with Feathers (Faith/Giles), by mediumrawr. Giles calls Faith and asks her to come to England. She does. Lovely pre-shippiness about two lonely people being less lonely together. The first in a series.

2. Sequential, Inconsequential (Faith/Giles), by brutti_ma_buoni. Another in Brutti's Rulesverse. She wrote a number of lovely Faith/Giles ficlets this year (including these and this), but this one's my favorite: Giles and Faith cautiously feeling out the first steps of their romance.

3. Reckless (Faith/Giles), by angearia. Circa the S8 Retreat arc, Faith saves Giles' life and has a few epiphanies. Great Faith characterization with a very intimate voice. A sequel of sorts to the genfic Solid Through, although you don't really need that to read this.

4. Quid Pro Quo (Faith&Giles), by seductivembrace. A lovely FitB piece circa the S8 No Future For You arc about damage, and quiet moments of healing, and doing the hard things that need doing.

5. Where the Streets Have No Name (Faith/Giles), by slippery_fish. Major character death and wet streets and grief sex and exquisite angst.

And, a bonus ficlet! Shine on You (Faith&Giles), by quinara. Faith doesn't trust gifts, but a gift of recognition is something different. Especially when the Watcher in Charge attaches a personal note. Sweet bit of pre-shippiness.
