Five Buffyverse crossovers

buffyversetop5Five crossover stories I've enjoyed this year, all pretty long; three are complete, the other two are WIP. Sorry, can't seem to access the tags for this!
My Immortal by Elisi (83,300 words, FR13) is probably going to make everyone's crossover list this year, and win a shedload of awards. It's a Torchwood crossover which asks "What if the Immortal was Captain Jack Harkness?" Set pre-Torchwood S1 and post Chosen, and fully canon compliant with both of them. There are two short sequels linked to it on the same site.
Counts of Blood by Lucinda (23,000 words, FR18) is set prior to Buffy's arrival in Sunnydale, when The Master has a sinister and formidable visitor - Count Von Count. Yes, it's a Muppet Show crossover, and it's good but very bloody. There's an unfinished sequel as a WIP on the same site.
To The Ground by FaithUnbreakable (73,000 words, FR 13) is an interesting insertion fic, in which Buffy becomes involved in the events of C.S. Lewis' Prince Caspian.
Finally, two WIPs
Best Laid Schemes by Don Sample (24,000 words, FR15) is an interesting Xander-centric Harry Potter crossover which avoids most of the cliches of this crossover.
Brotherhood by Curious Wombat (130,800 words, FR15) is a sequel to her previous Lord of the Rings crossover Return of the Key, and like it is a Dawn-centred love story with occasional kidnapping, orc attacks, etc. I think it's almost complete, but I could be mistaken.
MUCH later - apologies, for some reason I was sure that Counts of Blood was complete. It isn't, it's WIP.
