Top 5 Vids

Several of the vids I'd lined up to rec have already appeared here, such as Origin Stories, I'd Die for You, and It's Not. Below are two more that have also been recced before but hopefully something new as well.

1. Don't Cha by millylicious - All – is a wonderfully stylish Buffy-Faith vid which uses its visual effects not just to please but to say something about the two slayers and their paths.


2. Souljacker by danegen - All – is also an SPN crossover with Faith and Dean Winchester as a current day Bonnie and Clyde. This is fast paced and highlights the brutal aspects of Dean and Faith's lives, but also does a terrific job picking out the small details of their relationships with Buffy and Sam.

3. Scarlet Ribbons by aycheb - All - is a wonderful overview on the lives of slayers and the meaning they make of it, with a song that reminds you they are girls when they begin (and sometimes end).

4. Cuckoo by obsessive24 - All – One of the things I loved about this Angel/Lindsey vid was the look of it. It's sharp and gorgeous and, as I told her, I loved the way that the city of L.A. makes a central appearance here. I'd always thought making the most of the location was a real plus in the earlier seasons of Angel but kept dropping away as the years went by. I missed it.

5. I'll Be There by millylicious - All – A nice reminder that one of the things that makes Buffy special is her team.
