5. When he was all drugged up in Damage and Dana was just about to chop his hands off.

4. In the Deeper Well the “there’s a whole in the world” speech.

3. At the end of Damage, the end of the “we were innocent too” speech.

2. When he told Illyria that that he and Angel were intimate that once in Power Play. (lol… made me ‘squee’ like the fan-girl I am, too)

1. Number one had a tie! I couldn't decide! Sorry!
1a) FFL Buffy tells him he’s beneath her and tosses the money at him like a whore. That made me want snuggle Spike in a big way.

1b) Lessons – Crazy!Spike but specifically “I dropped my board in the water and the chalk all ran.” That line makes me tear up every time!

Excellent choices and I'd add how horribly beaten up he was after Intervention. No wonder Buffy kissed him.

As you can probably tell by my choices I was more an AtS watcher than BtVS so I've only seen that epi once and it's pretty foggy. But I agree, if you could avoid all the bruises that was certainly a snuggle Spike moment.

I agree wholeheartedly... and add crazy Spike in Selfless saying, "I've got nowhere else to go" when Buffy tells him that the basement is making him crazy. And "it's not you, it's me" Spike turning down Anya in Sleeper. OH! And Spike holding his jacket open and asking Buffy to stake him fast in Sleeper.

GAH... I think all this goes to tell me is that I want to snuggle Spike every time he shows up...

The end of "Beneath You", At the beginning when he is in the basement, then the end from when he hurt the boy to the closing credits. Just want to snuggle him to pieces!

To take something that Joss once said about AH and put it on Spike...
I cry when Spike cries, I laught when he laughs. When Spike's sad, my heart breaks for him and JM makes me feel that way, just with a look in his eyes, a tilt of the head...
It's what makes him the heart of Buffy to me.

Oh yes! The only reason I ever watched BtVS after DB left was because JM came on! So you can imagine how ecstatic I was when JM joined DB on Angel!
