5. When Doyle punched Angel to get him out of the way and sacrificed himself. (btw – wanted to snuggle Doyle too)

4. When Darla staked herself to save her son and Angel held her crumbling hand.

3. When baby!Connor disappeared into the portal and Angel fell to his knees.

2. When Cordelia disappeared at the end of You’re Welcome and Angel whispered “thank you.”

1. Angel the loveable dork at the end of Fredless.

#4 is definitely Angel at his best. Actually the whole alley scene with Darla is amazing - DB and JB act their hearts out.

oh, how about Angel at the end of The Trial when he found out he went thru the trials for nothing, that Darla was already on her second chance? He was soooo crushed and later when they were on the bed talking and Darla had accepted she was gonna die and then Drusilla turned her again?
