nwhepcat - R – Xander/Cordy and Xander/Faith but mostly Xander, Giles and some great dialogue. A classic tragedy, it packs a lot into a relatively short piece.
2. The Joys of Truck Sex and Other Erotic Musings of Cordelia Chase bymarenfic - R – I always thought Gunn and Cordelia would have been a much better pairing than Gunn and Fred and this episode was one of the ones that made me think so as well. Nice Cordelia POV.
3. On Joy and Sorrow bychrisleeoctaves - R – I am a sucker for most fics that have the B/A/S triangle. Although this is B/A, Spike also appears. I thought all the voices were wonderful.
4. Conceit bytkp - NC-17 – A post-NFA look at Buffy and Angel through Spike’s eyes, and in a lot of Spike’s words. A really interesting fic idea and a great ending.
5. The Flowers Only Grow on the Left byleni_ba - All – I liked the ideas about why Buffy may not have ended up involved with Xander.
