If I had to name a theme to these it would probably be diversity. Different genres, different styles, different subjects but then difference has always been a great strength of the Buffyverse. In no particular order:
1. Five on the Dime by
shati
Dark and complex Buffy POV. This vid is the still small voice that whispers she’s a killer, the drip, drip, drip of the Slayer death wish that might be eroding her humanity.
2. Sunset Boulevard by
butterfly
Charles Gunn meet Joe Gillis. Weaves elements from the musical, the movie and the series to make one exhilarating whole.
3. The Female of the Species by
gywn_r
In which the women are scary and the men should be so lucky.
4. Get By by
ficbyzee
Faith and Angel, Angel and Faith. They fall down they pick each other up again. Fast paced and hard-hitting, five by five by five.
5. Lover’s Cross by
dualbunny
LKBV from the point of view of some completely insane Buffy hating fanboy who roots for Angelus and whose Daddy probably wrote this song. Brain-scrubbingly funny.
