Five favorite off the beaten path icon makers of 2006

1. lit_gal continues to produce more and more wonderful icons. Many in her spander and xangel ships as well as Spike and character icons. Her work is unusual. Find all her icons to date here.

2. miz_thang88 who is a writer and runs an award site, also finds time to make some gorgeous icons. Her icon community is tragic_radiance and well worth the friending.

3. purplefeen is yet another writer who is terrific at making wonderful icons. A recent post of Spike icons here.

4. watchersgoddess also shares wonderful icons on her lj. Many are Angel, Angel/Willow, Angel/Tara. A recent post here.

5. kazzy_cee makes delicious icons in Spike or Spike related ships, some animated and some stills. Unusual het ships such as spara and spawn icons as well. Memories of her icons here.

It's actually very difficult to stop at 5! I'll have to think up another kind of category. ^_^

Yes, she's extremely gifted at graphics and brings with them an odd echo of her narrative voice. I've seen it before in writers/artists. Glad you enjoyed!
