1. Predatory Acts by Jane Davitt - Mature – Takes a cliche and makes it work. It seems so on the money for S2 Spike and Xander.


2. Sidelines by Anna S. - Mature – Probably my favorite fic ever. I loved the reworking of S4. I wished I could have seen this on screen. Just loved it.

3. Sweet Revenge by Jackson - Mature – As is so often the case, Spike gets hoisted by his own petard. It’s been done a lot since but this was a classic.

4. It’s Just a Jump to the Left and its sequel Late Night Double Feature - by kimberly_a - Mature – I remember hanging on these for each new installment to arrive. Thankfully all the others in this list were already finished so I could stay up all night reading them!

5. London Calling by shadowscast - Mature – Post S6 Xander’s sent to London to find Spike -- a Spike who is different from what he expected.
