Just a reminder that Top 5's 2021 season closes in 9 hours!
Take Care of the Rest by Hannah. There's something soft and kind about this look at how Buffy's life might have been a bit better had she taken a job at a local funeral home when first coming to Sunnydale.
Buffyworld by il_mio_capitano. Giles training the Buffybot could have played out various ways but I love the turn this story took.
Rewatch notes on BtVS 5.06 "Family" by thenewbuzzwuzz. Though this was one of a number of different commentary posts on BtVS episodes, I quite appreciated several of the insights offered here, such as how Tara's joke worked throughout the episode and the significance of Dawn standing up with Buffy.
A Daughter's Promise by Mythstaken. Buffy has to tell Dawn about Joyce. I liked the use of repetition here, the idea of the words circling in Buffy's head as she herself is still dazed and numb.
The House Where Summer Lived by Hecate. The Summers home reflects on its last residents. Given how often it was attacked and damaged, I'd think one could write an h/c series featuring the house!
