5 Crossovers with The West Wing

Quite a while back I decided one of my Top 5 lists would be stories rec'd on Indri's site which is where I ran across Donna the Vampire Slayer, a crossover with The West Wing. Listening to The Sunnydale Fanfic Club, a podcast that discusses fanfic with the authors, I heard that Beer Good Foamy has a West Wing crossover, Miss Summers Goes to Washington. And thus the BtVS / West Wing crossover rec list was born.

Donna the Vampire Slayer: Nomad has that West Wing banter down. Truly a delight of a story.

Ms Summers Goes to Washington: “GERALD!” Right, I’m going to go for any story that features the big block of cheese day and I truly adore Lord Marbury’s role, especially the hints about his past with Ripper and Ethan.

Brutti Ma Buoni’s To Insure Domestic Tranquility: A look at an older and more mature Faith. Nice to see her get a break. And be willing to accept it.

Scrollgirl’s Pull Back the Curtain in which Sam Seaborn receives clearance for the Freaky Files, as Toby likes to call them. The last line totally makes this story for me.

Marcus Rowland’s 1400: A set of West Wing drabbles where the characters know, or learn as we go, about Slayers. Who else would let Kennedy become the President? Plus totally worth it to learn that a whole slew of West Wing fanfic stories were once housed in the National Library.

Thanks for reccing 1400; somehow I never posted it to Dreamwidth until the National Library moved there, forgot to read it when it was moved, and hadn't realised that the formatting was weird. Now fixed - and they would have got away with it if not for you meddling kids...
