I love comics and animation, and fan vids -- and here is a list of 5 that combines them both!

stormwreath- Angel:After the Fall opening credits : Great credits for my all-time favourite Whedonverse comics series.

Andrew Hau - Buffy Season 8 comic credits: More TV-style opening credits, this time for S8. There are other S8 credits around that more spiffy looking, but they are based on the motion comic, and I appreciate this one because it was done using just static images from the comics without premade effects.

monkeypants06 - Buffy/Xander - Not the One (Season 8) Buffy and Xander are not my pairing, but I love this vid that was made for them using clips from the Season 8 motion comic.

Kitanishi - Buffy - Season 9 - Heavenly Answer: Full-length Buffy Season 9 vid. Very dynamic!

Stephen Byrne - The Animated Adventures Of Buffy: Last but not least, not based on the comics, but a 100% original animation by an extremely talented artist.

Thanks! It's true you don't see those very often, probably because the audience for the comics is a lot smaller than for the TV shows.

There are not many, but more than you'd think! Though most of them are trailers or credits based on the S8 motion comics. That's why I mostly wanted to include the ones that were a bit different.

Of course I went to the Buffy/Xander one first which was terrific. Look forward to checking out the rest. I don't follow the comics, but know enough from online chatter to get the gist.

You're welcome! Actually the Buffy/Xander one is the only one that is really telling a story; the other ones are all just opening credits.

It's really incredibly well done, isn't it! Totally professional! How I wish this was a real animated series.
