reremouse: Xander/Larry. What I'd pay to see the conclusion to this one? The Xander voice is perfection. The whole atmosphere is funny and witty and crazy. Xander and Larry in their most boy high school romance glory.
Water Hold Me Down byliz_marcs: Post-Chosen. Gang stayed headquartered in Cleveland. A very sick Xander receives a present for his birthday that he assumes is from Willow and then finds himself in an alternative universe in year 2015 where he meets an older version of himself and a pretty much alive Anya. Future Xander and Anya are married and have a daughter. Basically, what would have happened if Xander had married Anya, went on their honeymoon and never returned to Sunnydale. When I started reading I couldn't stop, this fic is filled with interesting plot twists and the mystery behind Future Xander is gripping.
Messing With His Head bylusciousspike: Xander/Spike. During Season 5 BtVS. Xander had just been dumped and he had run into Spike at the Bronze, then Spike wakes up in bed with Xander, except they didn't have sex, as Spike's keen sense of smell tells him, but he seizes the opportunity to play with Xander's mind and lets him believe they actually did. And there begins the series of Spike "messing with Xander's head" for his own twisted amusement. The fic is so charming and funny and poor, poor Xander.
Bargain byimmortal_kat: Xander/Spike. Perhaps my all time favorite smut! Set in S6 post-Hell's Bells. Spike somehow finds himself in possession of a mystical orb that the Scoobies need to seal a portal in order prevent an apocalypse. Only problem is the orb cannot be removed by force once it’s in someone’s possession or it becomes useless. Later, the Powers allow Spike to demand a payment. He’s forbidden to ask for the slayer since she is a far too important player. Instead Spike asks for one of the Scoobies as his payment. Seeing no other way, Xander performs the binding ritual on himself in order to stop the apocalypse and protect the others from Spike. To Spike's displeasure, he's stuck with Xander for the rest of his life. He won't be so sad for long though when all the various kinks start. What I love about this fic is that it isn't a mere PWP. There's plot going on with Xander's friends trying to save him unsuccessfully and how Xander not consenting to Spike easily. Then there's that very interesting twist. A twist neither Spike nor Xander would see coming.
Notes on Buffy the Vampire Slayer by Episode by2maggie2, Strudel and local_max: Okay, so it's not fic, but those are uncompleted episode reviews filled with wonderful insights to the plot and characters. What I'd do to see an update! They're worth your time, especially if you're writing a fic set in high school, helps with the characterizations.
