Favorite Fics from 2014

buffyversetop5I haven't really read a lot of BtVS fics this year, but these five stood out for me. :)

sparrow2000: Deliciously creepy and makes you sick with curiosity! Original idea with a shocking twist.
2- Muddle Through bycallievalpoli: Giles' POV. Sad, lonely and heartbreaking.
3- To Have and to Hold byquinara: Xander/Anya. Xander did marry Anya and their life is not exactly what he expected. Inspired by recent Nicholas/Emma photos.
4- The Jesse, Willow, and Xander Chronicles of Denial: The Cookies of Death byjesterladyfic: Demons, vampires and devils didn't just appear when Buffy showed up. They were already there in Sunnydale, already creeping into Xander, Jesse and Willow's lives and houses. This piece made me think of the hundreds of times our little heroes were saved from a brutal death without even knowing.
5- I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings bykerkevik_2014: A look into Faith's character post-Chosen.
