Ooh, I've only read two of these! Spuffy fic seems like the energizer bunny of verse fic -- there's been such a wealth of them built up but new ones keep being added all the time.

There's a lot of Spuffy. That's why this is just a perfect idea for a community. Some fics deserve to be recced years after they were finished, because they were just so good, and sometimes the world of fanfic is a little too immediate. On LJ in particular things are posted, reviewed, recced and forgotten in days.
There are great fics posted on ff net for instance that haven't been reviewed for years, and now so many of the old archive sites have gone down... And yet there are always new Spuffy fans. It's just so hard to find the old good stuff unless you remember it from when it was first posted.

Totally agree. LJ goes by so quickly that a lot of times catching up is impossible and because everything is often archived separately on individual journals it can be hard to find as well. Archives are a really valuable resource, especially for those starting out in a fandom.
