My top 5 non-shippy

Ok I started with the (fairly) easy ones and will be back later with some more lists.

These are fics in which, while there may be mentions of relationships in them, the ‘ship is far from being the focus of the fic.

Listed in Alphabetical order

* A Reckoning by talesofspike  Spike, Lilah, Angel, Connor, Wesley, Dracula
It is wonderfully written, fabulous characterisations, witty dialogue with wonderful snarky Spike.

* Cancelled by phendog   Spike and Angel
The plot is so original and the fic is just hilarious!

* Fated by confused_muse  Faith, Doyle, Dracula
Again wonderfully written with spot on characterisations with a lovely dark and dangerous Dracula and a gripping plot.

* Something Like by semby A little exploration of Dawn's character and her experiences.
Beautiful insightful look at Dawn from a truly wonderful writer.

* To tell the Truth  rayne_y_daze  Ethan and Ensemble
Fantastic fic. Characterisations are, once again, just perfect. A brilliant look into Ethan's character and mind!

Yay! It's so nice to see semby's fic get recced because I really enjoyed that too, and it really helped to change my opinion on Dawn. That first fic was great, too, as talesofspike did such a great job with so many different characters in a short space of time.
And thanks for those I haven't read - looking forward to catching up.

I love semby's writing, she always writes her characters with such insight.

talesofspike's fics are always great, with lovely, witty dialogue and she writes a wonderful array of characters so well.

The other fics are fabulous as well so I do hope you get the chance to read them as I am sure you will enjoy them.

That was my easy list out of the way... still working on the others... are you sure it can't be top 50?? lol.

You're welcome my dear! I LOVE that fic... I pretty much love all your fics (esp the gethan ones) but that one in particular really stayed with me.... and Gah, that ending!!!
