OK. So, so far I am only a member of a few, but what the heck! These darker communites kick so much ass, they had to mentioned. :-P And to find more Darker-communiteis, might I suggest checking the_darker_ring out, were new darker communites are being pimped. ;-) Right then. On with the list!

Why I chose this: The mother off them all. This was the first darker community that popped up. And man, am I glad it did! It is extremly active, and there is a HUGE bunch of talented people there. Sometimes it is so active it floods my f-list, but I don't care. I wouldn't wanna miss any off it... So much... Fanfics, fanart, anything you want all delicious dark, sick, wrong.... Well, more or less at least. And I am so amazed with sexymermaid who everyday give a daily recs list of things one might wanna check out, and lists all the entries in the current challenges going on.

Why I chose this: Angel or Angelus. There is darkness, isn't there? Oh yeah. Alot of Angelus there is, and I do love it so. The sickness, the torture, whatever it is, I am reading, I am watching. I am such a sucker for evil vampires... This community is quite not as active as Darker Spike, but the work posted is oh so wonderfully done! Fanart or fanfics, it doesn't matter. The quality is very high.

Why I chose this: Well, it is the darker of the two slayers, right? And I have always thought that Faith was way cooler then Buffy, but that might be just me. *grin* I love her attitude, her way off speak. Her sadness. Her toughness. And sometimes evilness. All is explored in this community. Not very active, but the fanfic and fanart that is posted, is well worth it...

Why I chose this: There is so much more to Rupert "Ripper" Giles then meets the eye. He has a darkness in him that I do so love. And the people here is great at exploring this! A lot of slash, not so surprisingly, perhaps. But there is other things to. Alot of talent in this community as well. Fanart, fanfic, you'll find it all here. High quality, although not so active, but what is posted, is all very nicely done.

Why I chose this: A dark Buffy you say? Is it possible? Oh yes. :-) Seeing her in season 6 should have thought people that. :-P If nothing else the people writing and doing artwork here can teach you. Lovely stuff all around. Some femme-slash shows up here to, wish makes me love this even more. It is dark, it is fanfic and fanart of high quality. What more can one ask? :-)
