1. Mayfly Days by Jenny
Once again, the master of all things spangel can do no wrong. Here, Spike checks up on Angel 10 years post shanshu to see if he's happy.

2. Where We Belong by angelspike69 & anamcara420
William and Liam are creative, successful amnesiacs who meet serendipitously and are inexplicably drawn to each other.

3. For the Love of the Childe by Vix
This is the oddball of the bunch in that this isn't a post-NFA flick, so the term shanshu may or may not be 'technically' appropriate, but Angel is turned human during the episode 'the trial'. The best part of this fic are the priceless scooby/fang-gang interraction and the scheeming/reactions of Darla, Buffy, and Spike.

4. Pinch me by itsabigrock
A post-NFA Spangel shanshu fic set in a dystopic landscape.

5. Of Kings and Common Men by flaming_muse
Illyria's pets try to get by as best they can in her bleak kingdom despite her neglect and a distinct lack of hope.

ETA: Mod asked me to rate these fics, so I'll say that all of them contain full-on boy!sex and some contain bloodplay, but I don't think I've overlooked any other specifically squicky warnings.

Wow. I've really been using my Spangel icons lately :) :) And two of these fics were on my own list - so hoorah! Or rather, aargh! :) Thanks very much for this, looks like a great and varied list.
Just a couple of things:
The first link does not work, and takes you back to this community actually.
The link for the third one takes you to Part 5. Might it not be easier to link to the Index instead?

I fixed all of the links, as for ratings, I don't know what system you're using and I'm super confused about that fan system, so i leave the rating to the authors, but if pressed, I'd have to say that 99% of the fics I rec can be assumed to have an Adult rating (at least R to nc-17ish) due to sex or violent material.

Yes, that fan system also confuses me! Nothing is ever simple. We've suggested either rating fics with All/Teen/Mature or if the fics are listed specifically then using ratings from G to NC-17/NC-30. I guess all of these are "Mature" then.
