Hi,

      here are five fics by the Fanfic Author I loves the mostest, Jet Wolf who, with her The Chosen S8 continuation, gave me back Tara, for which I will be eternally grateful. RL has stalled much in the way of new fic-writing for some time now, but the world she created in The Chosen is the one that captures that illusive magical quality that drew me to a show where, if I'm honest, none of the main characters; including Spike initially, seemed to draw any empathy from me (also be aware - No Spike! in The Chosen).

   Jet Wolf is my master now!

   Oh, and yes, the funniest is last again - I know, tiresomely predictable, ain't it?

She is a She.

Her continuation so captured the spirit of Buffy the Vampire Slayer for me that I consider IT canon rather than the comics, so much so that I want to take Satsu & Renee and introduce them into a "The Chosen" fanfic one day.

She gave me back Tara; she made me like Kennedy and, most importantly, she made me realise that I was, and indeed still am, in mourning for a fictional character.

She also created an original character that was every bit as real to most of Jet Wolf's fans as any on the TV show... but you'll have to check out the continuation, which I noticed earlier someone else has recc'd, to find out who that is.

Hah!

And I remember telling you to get reading The Chosen, becuse I think YOU would find it a fertile ground for fanfic ideas and re: my comment above, it captures what made Buffy so magical, and rich, far, far better than the other JW's continuation.

Oh, the perils of giving a genius auteur an unlimited budget :-)

Plus it's been stuck on hold mid-S9 for a considerable time now, so you could certainly read S8 to it's conclusion with no problems; also the DVD extras are almost as good as the episodes she's written.

As I say above, and ad nauseum elsewhere, you really must check out Jet Wolf's S8 continuation. It's canon for me!
