Five Willow Fics I Enjoyed This Year

buffyversetop5I am big fan of Willow and I thought I would share five fics featuring her which I enjoyed this year.
1)Sex 101 (Willow/Spike; NC-17) by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
purplefeen: While it's still a work-in-progress, this is already a delightful tale. It features a deliciously scheming Anya, a bet involving Spike's duster, Willow looking for sex lessons, and Spike being...Spike. What more could you possibly want? This one's a treat!
2) The Back End of a Yellow Crayon (Vamp!Willow/Xander; Teen) bylit_gal: Taking place in the Wish!verse, this is an exquisitely melancholy imagining of Xander's turning by a surprisingly human and vulnerable Vamp!Willow. Short, but powerful and very much deserving of a read.
3) Tilt (Willow; Teen) byinell: Yes, you read the author right. Inell came back to the BTVS fold very briefly, just long enough to give us this angst-filled tale of Willow being stalked by an old enemy. Thank you, Inell!
4) Sundays at Nine (Willow/Kennedy; PG) bylily_lovely: Right up front, I will say that I cannot stand Kennedy and this story didn't change that. Still, it's hard not to be sucked into this very affecting tale of a break-up that may or may not stay that way. Lily has a real way with words.
5) When Cerulean Is Just Plain Blue (Willow/Giles; R) bybrutti_ma_buoni: I don't read much Willow/Giles, but how can you not be caught up in such a well-crafted and heartbreaking tale? While it's disturbing, it also brings tears with its depiction of a Willow who, after trying to end the world, does one more terrible thing without meaning to do it. This is very affecting (but do take note of the warnings you see in the header).
