dawnofme never pimps her work so I thought that I'd pick my top five of the fics/artwork that she did in 2008. 

She'll probably tell me off for doing this but what the hell...I'm safe in England and she's in California. Why can I never write that without hearing it in my head as Calli-forn-nye-ay?.  I digress - click on the cut to find the gems that I've selected!





In Harm's Way

Although I love all that she writes - I do have a really soft spot for this fic.  It begins with the episode Harsh Light of Day but takes you on a completely different journey after that.  A dream sequence in one chapter in particular is one of the funniest and cleverest bits of writing I've seen :)

With the help of another vampire, Harmony casts a spell that will change the course of events and does exactly the opposite of what Harmony was hoping for. Spells, the Initiative and other problems plague our heroes as they fight an attraction that cannot be denied.

That's What Heroes Do

This fic came about because of a bet that I made with dawnofme over some awards - long story!  The short version is that she had to write me some Spike/Angel slash!  The result is a great little story that really could have happened...

This is a banner and 100 word drabble that she did for seasonal_spuffy  I love the images she chose for the banner and the drabble really evokes the feeling of that moment.

dawnofme is also a great artist.  She has done banners for all my stories and for many other authors too but this little icon always makes me smile. 

Doesn't this just capture Spike spot on?

I love her work - and am so pleased to see both #1 and 3 in their. They are lovely ... and in #3 cases very moving.
