Access to Top 5 Session

Cheers for Endeni who was able to make our first posts for this session! We realize that, like us, many community watchers may have been unable to access LJ long enough for the past few days to get any posts up. Since we don't know how long the problems will continue, we are extending the Top 5 session to January 28 to make sure everyone who is preparing posts has the chance to make them.

We also wanted to remind everyone that buffyversetop5 has a mirror on Dreamwidth and if you are having problems posting you can always make them there as well. Once this session has ended we will be importing the new content there as soon as access to LJ continues long enough to do so.

We can take questions at the Dreamwidth site as well if you are trying to reach us and are unable to do so here -- both of your mods, yourlibrarian and petzipellepingo have accounts there.

FANVIDS:
Changes by thedothatgirl (Worksafe, gen) - A great ensemble overview of BtVS Season 4, thedothatgirl's vids are always gorgeous.
Mah Na Mah Na by kallysten & lynnenne (Worksafe, Angel/Spike) - The vid is so funny and it masterfully highlights the parallels between Spike and Angel.
Maybe Sparrow by fray-adjacent12 (Worksafe, Wesley/Fred) - So epic and moving! :)

PODFICS:
The Future, Soon by tieleen - read by reena_jenkins (Worksafe, gen) - An imaginative and haunting look at the slayers future, read by the talented reena_jenkins.
A Buffyverse Alphabet by shadowscast - read by reena_jenkins (Worksafe, gen) - "A Buffyverse Alphabet" is a great classic and it's fantastic to be able to enjoy it in podfic form, too.

Seasons Keep On Marching by bruttimabuoni - Just before Chosen, someone offers Giles a choice. He tries to choose wisely. But taking anything from Wolfram & Hart has consequences, no matter how wisely you choose. More people than just Giles will share those consequences, for good or ill. Five Favourite Short Fics by Brutti Ma Buoni

Some writers just kept on bringing the good stuff in 2012, and brutti_ma_buoni is one of the chief among them. Whether long or short, her work is always varied and wonderful. Here are five of my favourites of her short fics. The first one, I only read for the first time a minute ago.

Ca Ira. Pre-series, set in the heady (or should that be headless?) days of the French Revolution, and featuring an OC Slayer and her lover, both with a way with words. PG-13. Written for femslash_minis.
