1- The Scottish comic by stormwreath: Think of a famous character from literature who lived in a castle in Scotland and had help from a witch or two; who started out as a noble and brave hero but was seduced into committing a crime in order to become more powerful, and from then on spiralled further and further down until they lost all respect for human life and ended up as nothing but a cruel tyrant fated for death.



2- Buffy talks about the Giant Dawn thing by beer_good_foamy: A funny interview with Buffy Summers, discussing Dawn's storyline in S8.

3- Motivational posters: Season 8/Doctor Horrible by beer_good_foamy: The similarities between Buffy Season 8 and Doctor Horrible. So funny.

4- Retribution by ennui_blue_lite: After Renee’s death in Buffy issue #14, most fans are hopeful that Xander will be the one to kill Toru. This was drawn before #15 arrived, and it looks very pretty.


5- Making Best Use Of Your Assets by stormwreath: Fan-comic telling a little fanfic, it's a mesh up of comic art. It's adorable nonetheless.

It's interesting to see how the new comics format has led to forms of fanwork that were hardly seen in these fandoms before.

You have to admit that whether you like S8 or not, it did make a stir in fandom, I think it helped refreshing it a bit, new ideas, new characters, new forms of fanwork.
