Five Fics of Fuffiness

It's been a good year for Fuffy shippers. (Whatever the opinions of the comics, it's not like Brian Vaughan's arc on s8 made Buffy/Faith fanfic any less intriguing.) So here's five Slayeriffic ficlets from 2007 – and narrowing it down to five wasn't easy.

1. Tissue by shati (PG). Post-series; Buffy and Faith trying to communicate, but as usual, words and deeds keep getting in the way. "Twins who refuse to be mistaken for each other."

2. Cracks by oroborusfox (R). Sometimes, Buffy catches glimpses of Faith. "She doesn’t think anyone has ever forced Faith, but she doesn’t think anyone’s ever asked either."

3. Virtue by faith1922 (R). Way post-series, containing one of the darker twists on Buffy's post-resurrection self I've come across – and yet so easily bought into. "They breathe and breathe and breathe like it’s the only thing they are capable of doing."

4. Music and Savage Beasts by xlivvielockex (R). Slightly more light-hearted, and UST galore. “Get off me! Did you gain weight while you were in prison or something?”

5. The Post-Shag Domesticity by shinodabear (PG). Post-series; this is just a sweet little moment in time. Buffy/Faith can exist without the angst, but never without the conflicts. "Have fun boring the kids."
