5 Author Interviews Recorded by The Sunnydale Fanfic Club in 2018

The podcast The Sunnydale Fanfic Club is one of my favorite things that have been happening in Buffy fandom lately. I love how interactive and community-oriented it is, and I love getting writing advice and story trivia from some of my favorite authors, hearing about the experiences of other fans, and discovering bits of fandom history. This list is going to be highly subjective, so if interviews with Buffyverse fanfic authors sound fun, I recommend browsing their annotated episode list on libsyn to see for yourself which episodes might interest you. Below are some of the ones I enjoyed most. Assume all episodes are NSFW by default.

5 Awesome Buffy/Joss Friends I've Made in LJ this Year

Since the last

buffyversetop5 I've made 5 AWESOME friends through LJ. These guys are all Buffy/Joss Fans and ONE I even made here! Here's my top 5 friends and something they did this year..

aurey09 - I think I read her fic first, and then friended her. Aurey09 has been an amazing friend, someone that I talk to on a daily basis now. Her love and knowledge of Buffy is vast. One of my favorite fics? Almost Acceptance (Spike, Giles) PG.

2.

athenamuze - We met on this comm! Since then we've been able to meet in person twice! We even got to go to the Buffy house and Buffy's highschool this year! One of my favorite fics? A podcast audio drama. A Winter's Tale (G)

5 Extra Special BBtL things

You all may or may not have heard of Buffy Between the Lines, but in either case, here are some really fun things the group/fans have put together for one reason or another. For those who don’t know about it, BBtL is an audio drama (podcast) that gives episodes that could have happened during the summer of the show (one could say it's enhanced fanfic). Right now it features episodes that fit between S5 and S6 of BtVS.
