Spike & Dawn fics
I'm a huge sucker for Spike and Dawn! I've always thought the two of them brought out things in each other that no one else did; and one of my biggest regrets for season 7 of BtVS is that we never got to see the two of them reconcile. So I'm a sucker for fic than lets me see them interact!

Bit of a 'mixed bag' this one I'm afraid. I'm using it to tie up a few 'loose ends' as they represent fandom being creative but in a variatey of mediums.
1) Shotgun a video by zeronephilim
To start off with a highly recommend (and I can't say that strongly enough here) a superb Wesley oriented vid called Shotgun made byzeronephilim who sadly seemes to have left lj fandom, which is a huge shame considering how superb his work was. This brilliant vid gives us a glimpse into the life of 'gun toting f*cked up Wes', the version of this character that I love the most. The editing on this is just outstanding and serves to remind me what a complex tragic figure he made during the latter half of the show.
His website is still down so I've taken the liberty of uploading the vid myself and which can be downloaded here

Although many communities had another great year, I wanted to focus on a few new ones whose forums give writers a better chance to write (and get readers).
