I love seasonal coms, don’t you? It gives everyone a reason to show off their best work. Here are five of my favorite seasonal com posts in 2015:

Post-Chosen, Giles and Olivia meet and talk about then and now. The conversation goes in a direction that is not what Giles expected. As usual with shapinglight’s work, the characters are realistic and the dialogue is searing and brilliant.

In the artist’s words: a passage from the short story by quinara “drove me to reimagine Spike’s soul as something alive, awakened after a long period of time, restricting, angry, painful.” It’s absolutely gorgeous and so nice to see original artwork!

This short story caught me off-guard. It started out as sort of a tame Willow/Spike character study, then it took me on a wild ride. What remained constant was thoughtful characterization and insight.
