Maybe it works so well because, while we all knew about Snyder's weasel side, the poet side was a surprise.

There were many, many stories by you and by deird1 that met the criteria, but many had already been recced. I'm happy to know that you are both being fully acknowledged, even if I don't get to do it myself.

That's very sweet of you! I don't know about deird1 but for me, coming late to fandom makes it seem less enticing to ship in a big way, and more to try and write round the edges of what's gone before. I mean, I do do both, but Spuffy is well catered for - 'Snyder is a person too' fic is a little less frequent!

I forgot to add that you might enjoy these (http://forum.slayalive.com/index.cgi?board=scribes&action=display&thread=9668), Rebcake. I ran an Outsider POV writing challenge at SlayAlive and some of the entries are so entertaining. One is from the POV of Buffy's neighbor who thinks they're all crazy. Another is from a waitress who meets Oz in a cafe - it's wonderful seeing Oz through her eyes.
