Some favorite POV fics

Some favorite year 2014 stories that - in one way or another - are about point of view. (Or at least I consider them to be.)
Any bad English in summaries is mine and shouldn't be blamed on fic authors.

Illusions (Angel, Spike, OC, PG-13) by ash_carpenter. Brilliant outsider POV story, showing that in Sunnydale getting it almost right is never enough. (And you read it right - ash wrote PG-13 gen story, her hand slipped.)

Wish You Were Here (Instead of Me) by ChristinaK (Ensemble, PG-13). Another terrific outsider POV. It's year 2014 and Sunnydale Class of '99 is having a reunion.

Special Delivery by dragonyphoenix (Willy the bartender, Buffy, Giles, PG-13). It's always fascinating to see Buffy through some minor character's eyes, and dragonyphoenix got Willy's voice absolutely perfect.

Vision of Us by pickamix (Willow/Angel/Spike, R). Beauty is such a relative term, especially when it is end of the world...

The Watcher Who Still Watches by katleept (Ensemble, PG-13). Giles is dead. How does it feel for the people who knew him?

Thanks for this list. Illusions is great, and I just read Special Delivery, which I liked a whole lot too. I'm going to have to save the longer stories for some other time.

Thanks! I snagged that icon because it will go really well with my Tea vid (when I get around to posting it on LJ).

And yes, it's a long winter, but the Christmas holidays are over and I have no clue where I will find the time now to read all the great fics being recced here. (Let alone to finish that vid I'd hoped to work on during the holidays -- a chance I completely ruined for myself by getting an LJ account :-)
