Top 5 Classic Recs Format Mix

1) Buffy works based on Al Parker illsutration by Laura Birdsall. A collection of earlier work, I particularly love the ghost Joyce watching Passions with Spike.

2) Moving On, Forward (Come in Lost Soul) by pushingcrazies features a pairing I hadn't seen before or even thought about before. A rewrite of AtS S4 with Jonathan and Andrew hiding out in L.A. rather than Mexico, and soon enmeshed in the issues Angel's team is having.

I'm pretty sure I downloaded this after an earlier Classic Recs session and it clearly took me a while to get around to it. But I did read it last month, and was surprised to realize it was a WIP. But no longer! This was finished last August.

3) for a very important case by storiesfortravellers. Kaylee and River are up to no good.

4) The Giles Thing (Podfic) by Dark_Dreymer. It's always great to get a podfic of a lengthy story and this recording of Dr. Squidlove's story was an enjoyable find.

5) How to Give Feedback to Podfics by yue-ix. Handy guide for suggestions of how to evaluate podfics when you want to leave the podficcer some love.

You're right about that ghost Joyce image. Awesome.

I don't have time to check the rest out yet, but I'll be back.

I thought the pairing you hadn't seen before was Jonathan/Andrew and scrolled right by, then I glimpsed that ship tag & TIRE SCREECH. Jonathan/WHO?! :)) Adding to to-reads. Thanks!

I'm reading pushingcrazies' story now and really enjoying it although I am missing context since I watched very little of AtS.

And I adore The Giles Thing. Looking forward to hearing it. ;-)
