Some favorite gen stories of the past year, arranged from shortest to longest.

Distractions by il_mio_capitano (Giles, Xander, PG). A library horror drabble that could really give you chills.

Parent Traps by aliceinkinkland (Willow, Anya, Xander, Tara, G). After "The Gift," Willow, Tara, Xander, and Anya discuss how they’re going to raise Dawn without turning into their own not-so-perfect parents.

Tricks Are For Magicians by snogged (Dawn, Willow, PG). And another post-Gift ficlet about parenting. Ira and Sheila would never be parents-of-the-year, but Willow wants to help Dawn the best that she can.

The Seekers by kerkevik_2014 (female character revealed by the end of the story, Miss Kitty Fantastico, PG). Post-Chosen. A girl and a cat wake up at the bottom of Sunnydale crater...

The First Day of the Rest of Your Life by KiranInBlue (Andrew, Jonathan, G). Jonathan's first day in his new body. (This story uses that bit of Buffy S10 comics canon where Jonathan consciousness was digiatlly backed up and saved by Andrew.)
