Five non-scary Halloween(ish) stories

Five non-scary (and mostly non-dark) stories for the Halloween. Arranged from shortest to longest (though even the longest one is just about 1800 words.)

C'tea for Cthulhu by [livejournal.com profile] lostboy_lj. Buffy, Spike, PG-13.
Buffy and Spike encounter Cthulhu and things don't go as you expect them, though everyone acts perfectly in character (including Cthulhu).

The Apocalypse Has Been Postponed by Glassdarkly ([livejournal.com profile] shapinglight), Buffy/Spike & Four Horsemen, PG.
Where Buffy refuses to deal with the apocalypse, and the apocalypse just have to deal with it. The cutest end of the world story I know.
Additional LJ link to the story, just in case.

Alas, Poor William. I Knew Him Well. by [livejournal.com profile] ruuger. Drusilla/Spike, PG-13.
After an argument with Spike, Drusilla decides to find someone new who will love her forever and ever and ever.

Radio Silence by [livejournal.com profile] beer_good_foamy. BtVS/Welcome To Night Vale crossover, PG-13.
The Gentlemen drop by Night Vale. This poses something of a problem for a radio host who depends on his voice to communicate. Not to mention for the people in town who aren't too keen on having their hearts cut out.
It's the cleverest use of the Gentlemen ever, I doubt anyone could trump this.

Five Things Dawn Might've Dressed Up As On [that first] Halloween by [livejournal.com profile] sparklebutch. Dawn-centric, PG-13.
One of the most insightful Dawn-instert stories I know. Besides, Dawn gets dressed as Buffy on that Halloween night, how you could not love THAT?

Yes! It’s the Dru turned a watermelon story. I read this years ago, didn’t save the link, and thought I’d never see it again. Oh, I’m so happy you included this one.

And Yes! Yes again that is. Radio Silence. An awesome one.

The Dawn’s Halloween costumes was excellent. Now I sort of want to see the repercussions of Dawn having Slayer memories.

Not anytime soon from me. I've got Giles as the Big Bad to finish, Na No Wri Mo, a remix this month, and a story for my writing group.

Loved seeing that Night Vale one -- it's always good to see the Buffyverse stories appearing with newer fandoms.
