Five crossovers

Five crossovers with other TV shows and, as a bonus, one crossover with a book-cum-opera-cum-several movies.

Captain Spike by [livejournal.com profile] elisi
PG-13. One-shot. Angel\Torchwood crossover. Angel, Spike and Illyria meet Jack and his team. Post-’To the Last Man’(Torchwood)/post-NFA (AtS). Two universes with two different approaches to supernatural collide in this outrageuously funny fic full of memorable lines and meta references.

The Sunnydale Files by [livejournal.com profile] redeem147
PG. BtVS s 2 \ The X-Files s 6 crossover. Mulder and Scully arrive to Sunnydale. Buffy's task is to convince them that vampires and slayers don't exist. But who is that bleached guy in a black duster who lurks near her house?
“I did find out that people in your town have lower than usual iron levels,” Scully said.
“Mosquitos,” Spike said. “Very big mosquitos. Suck the iron right out of you.”

Where's the Doctor? by [livejournal.com profile] missmurchison
Completed, PG, fluffy season 6. A sequel (of sort) to the fic Who's the Doctor? in which Spike keeps the Suvolte eggs (in the episode As You Were) for Doctor Who and his team. Here, the earlier version of Doctor Who appears again in Sunnydale to find a Key that opens portals; problem is, a certain "agent of chaos" also wants to lay his hands on the mysterious artefact. Great fun, full of sharp observations on TV archetypes in past and present. In the Whoverse, it takes place during Tom Baker's reign, when he was traveling with Leela; Buffy/Spike dynamics mirrors Doctor/Leela dynamics, with a gender reversal of protagonist and sidekick. It's a clever trick that makes the story more substantial than it looks at first sight. Buffy and Leela, two warriors with two different backgrounds have so much in common - does it really matter who's a protagonist and who's a sidekick? Besides the "meta" level the story boasts competent plotting and good character voices; Buffy's line "It's hard enough loving one person. Why do I have to love so many?" - is particularly poignant. It's Buffy in a nutshell.

Bug on the Cosmic Windscreen by [livejournal.com profile] missmurchison
PG, completed. Post-Pegasus (BSG) / Post-NFA. Spike landed in the BSG 'verse and bewildered Colonists took him for a prophet. The story delves into interesting parallels between soulless vampires and soulless cylons; the plotting is inventive and colonists' perception of Spike is very funny.

Let's Go Kill Something! by [livejournal.com profile] spikendru
PG-ish. BtVS\Dr. Who crossover. Post-Something Blue. A new kind of demons appear in Sunnydale. Buffy recruits Spike to help her investigate them. Funny plot and great Buffy voice ("Riley was really, really tall—taller even than Angel, by at least the space between two shirt buttons".)

The Missing Piece by [livejournal.com profile] authoressnebula
R to NC-17. BtVS/Phantom of the Opera crossover. Pairings: Buffy/Angel, Buffy/Spike, eventually Buffy/Angel/Spike. In season 5 Buffy discovers an old Watcher's journal researching a connection between vampires and slayers. Obviously, the Council is taking extreme measures to prevent their mutual attraction.

Another good list! And Bug just had it's last chapter posted yesterday so people can read it in it's entirety.
