electricalgwen is another writer I only shortly noticed; her writing style a bit different to Erin, but as magnificent. What they both have in common and I find so appealing, is the focused, sometimes almost clipped tone, that dissects the topics and lays them bare, without losing the emotions that accompany them.

She isn't afraid of themes that seldom find a place in fandom and handles them with as much feeling as objectivity, not really taking sides, but sometimes answering the questions nevertheless. I wish I could describe it better for you, but nothing I say will replace the experience, so

Thanks! I tried to show her many facets, so choosing was a hard going...

I loved the last one, too, but the first one even better. It's simply excellent.
