aadler: Dru is going after Jenny and Angelus is playing taunt the watcher. It’s Jenny, Giles, Ethan and Xander on a wicked adventure set in S2 after Angel lost his soul.
Conversations with Dead People: Xander’s Scene by buffy-quinn: This scene should have been included in the episode. I really loved how First Jesse touched on the hypocrisy of giving some vampires a chance but not himself because it feels like it’s something Xander would consider after knowing that Angel is a vampire even though at the time Jesse was turned neither Buffy or Xander knew it was possible for a vampire to have a soul and change.
A Mother's Prerogative bykatleept: Buffy, Joyce, S3. Buffy comes back late from patrol. “She’s saved the world a multitude of times. She saves lives every night, and yet now underneath her mother’s stern gaze, the Slayer suddenly feels ten years old again.”
In Midst of the End byquaggy_mire: This fic deals with the aftermath of Empty Places between Buffy and her friends especially Giles which the show didn’t bother to do.
After Another Hard-Earned Day by workaholicSlacker: Buffy feels down about her job at the Doublemeat Palace. Xander shares his experience with dead-end jobs with Buffy. I’ve always thought it was a conversation Buffy and Xander should have had in S6. Xander had been in Buffy’s shoes back in S4. The writers were so set on separating Buffy, Xander and Willow in S6 it’s so annoying how many opportunities for meaningful conversations between them have been wasted.
