5 Firefly Crossovers

1) Ex Turpi Causa by drsquidlove. A lawyer offers to bring Simon and River their freedom. Simon thinks they'd be better off taking their chances on Serenity. Angel crossover.

2) Need a Lift? by writingramblr. Tony Stark, captain of the Serenity, meets a redhead drifting in space -- but perhaps not the one you think.

3) Time Bomb by Christina K. When an unbalanced girl with a penchant for dangling off high places suddenly 'poofs' into existence in a bar with no explanation, Harry has a new job. Just not one he ever would have wanted. Crossover with Dresden Files.

4) Timestamp: Wong ba duhn by pipkinxchaos. Dean is the captain of an illegally salvaged small cruise ship and keeps her goin' with help from his rag-tag group of friends and family. Supernatural crossover.

5) Ever After by SailorSol. It all started with a crate they found on a salvage op, a week earlier. If Zoe had known what they would find, she might have reconsidered agreeing to the job. Iron Man crossover.

I love Firefly, but for some reason have not read many crossovers. Thanks for this list!

I think there are some fandoms that lend themselves to crossovers. I think Firefly works well because the canon was brief but it had a clear verse to operate in. SPN seems to as well, perhaps because so much of the series is concentrated into only 2 characters and it's easy to transplant them to new settings.

Have you read Out in the Black (http://www.tthfanfic.org/Story-7751/Emmy+Out+in+the+Black.htm) by the late emeraldswan? It's a Firefly/Buffy x-over. Yes, I'm shamelessly pimping it because she was a dear, dear friend and an awesome writer and... damn it, I miss her.
