Five Fics I enjoyed in Earlier 2013

1) Cousins to the War by jo_anne_storm: Okay, I've never watched Teen Wolf but I heard a lot about the similarities between Xander and Stiles and got curious. I don't regret a second of it. I'm glad that it's Stiles visiting Xander instead of the other way around. I'm also glad that Stiles is Xander's cousin and not his lover.

2) Natural Fear by antrazi: Post S7. Xander can't see well anymore. Is he going blind? What should he do?

3) Keep Me from Falling by theladymerlin: S7 Ficlet. Xander, Buffy, Spike friendship. Spike is being tormented by his newly acquired soul and the First.

3) Cooking for One by punch_kicker15: I've read a lot of awesome drabbles, but this one is the only one the came into my mind. Post-Hell's Bells. Xander angst.

5) Sticks and Stones by angel_grace01: Xander Harris and Greg House: who's gonna win the fight of wit? And then we get a slashy ending.

All of these are new to me and I just gobbled up half this list in pretty short order. Excellent list - esp as someone who, admittedly doesn't seek out Xander-centric fics - or really male-centric fics generally, although that's been changing slowly - so I have to be "enticed/seduced" by really good stories and prose. These definitely fit the bill! thank you!
