Top Five Spander Fics by baudown

2011 was a great year for Spander fics. I discovered baudown this year. Her writing is super, her character voices are super, and her fics are always a joy to read. Here are five fics I've read and enjoyed of hers.



1) Remembered, If Outlived: Post-Chosen AU, and Xander just isn't the same. Wonderfully emotional, bleak, and great take on depression.

2) Of Persons Outside Windows : Set in an altered season 4. Xander and Spike get to know each other. Gradual development at its best.

3) For My Pains A World Of Sighs : Set between Seasons 1 and 2. Things went differently in Prague, and Spike shows up in Sunnydale a few months early.

4) Saved : Season 4 AU. Why Xander doesn't want Spike to stay in the basement. Xander's POV, I love his conflicting feelings and the delicious angst.

5) Grace : Season 4 AU. Spike looks for one thing, and finds another. Companion piece to Saved. The same incident described in Saved, from Spike's POV.

Oh my Goddess, when you are right, you are right. I recall reading Remembered, If Outlived and it's fantastic! Thanks for reminding me of this author.
