Top 5 Dawn Fics by snowpuppies

As the title helpfully indicates, these are my top five fan fics of all sorts about Dawn by snowpuppies. And I stress 'in 2008', because she's written really good Dawn ones before this that can't be included here.

Also, these are all by snowpuppies, which is why I'm not putting the Creator Name.

Plus and also? Minor plot spoilers in the plot descriptions, though I left some stuff out.



Yes, I realize I seem a wee bit sketch promoting five fics by one author. Seriously, it's because she's awesome and I adore her fic so very very much and want to share it. No creepy motives.

On the other hand, she's pretty popular, so maybe you've read some of these before. But maybe not, or maybe you've read some of hers but not all. Or you read and didn't comment, you weasel soon-to-be-commenter. So...voila.

~Title: Conversations in Artistic Expression

Rating: R

Description/Pimpage: Absolutely not because it's dedicated to me. Nope. :P

Seriously, it's an amazing fic. It's a dialogue-only Anya/Dawn, mostly with them sexing all over the place, only...no description of it. Which sounds terrible, but it's actually really fun and well-done. And you get to use your imagination as to what exactly they're talking about...

In general, it's just really sweet and adorable, as well as sexy and hilarious.


~Title: Tied, Part 1 and Tied, Part 2

Rating: Part 1 is R, Part 2 is NC-17.

Description/Pimpage: It's Spike/Dawn at it's funnest (hell yes that's a word), with Dawn being called as a Slayer after Buffy dies in "The Gift", and Spike and Dawn running away from the Watcher's Council, with Dawn...well, you'll see. Rest assured that it's both shmexily hot and full of intriguing ideas, chase scenes, and great description.


~Title: Epilogue

Rating: PG

Description/Pimpage: A post-Chosen based off of suggestions from Fray (comic about a future Slayer by Joss), but you don't need to have read Fray before. It's got Dawn and Xander as the only two people from Sunnydale left after a spell made all the magic (and magic-people, like Slayers and witches and vampires and demons) go away. They've got quality flirtsy interactions, there's fun flashbacks and a cool concept, and Dawn gets to be all strong and persuasive and don't-take-no-for-an-answer.


~Title: The Untimely Death of Mr. Flopsy

Rating: R

Description/Pimpage: This is majorly hilarious and kinky. No pairings, just Dawn, erm, masturbating. With her stuffed rabbit, Mr. Flopsy. And then Anya and Buffy and Xander come in.

~Title: Wrong

Rating: R

Description/Pimpage: It's absolutely eery and horrifying and creepy and wonderful. (No, I'm not weird, why do you ask?) It's got the vaguest of vague pairing feelings to it, but nothing solid. Basically, Buffy came back wrong when she's brought back from heaven, and it leaves Spike and Dawn alone trapped in routines and nightmares and horror. I really don't want to spoil this one, because it's just so...aagh. Amazing. Seriously, go read it. Andale, andale!
