My Top Five BtVS/AtS vids by Dualbunny

dualbunny is one of my favourite fan vidders, and here are five of her best BtVS/AtS ones from 2007 and before.

They Can’t Take That Away From Me, a Spangel vid that's both hilarious and affectionate, with music by Ella Fitzgerald. Can't be bettered.



Suburbia. A heartbreaking vid of Buffy, very much alone, dealing with the burden of being the Slayer. I defy anyone to watch it and not feel sorry for her.

Spanish Doll. A Drusilla vid - both creepy and poignant at the same time, and with song lyrics that could have been written for the character.

Black, Black Heart. For me, without question, the best Spike vid ever made.

One Last Time. A Spuffy vid, which doesn't shrink from the bad stuff, and yet leaves you feeling deeply sorry for both of them.

I think I rec her every year on Classics Top 5, but the more people that watch her vids, the better, as far as I'm concerned.

It was very hard to pick, actually. I love Tragedy too, and it's very clever, but I dislike the Bee Gees so much I couldn't say that one was an absolute favourite like these are.

I had to elbow in here to mention that last week there was a news report about a study done at my university that determined that "Staying Alive" was the perfect song to do CPR to (or to imagine while doing it) because it had just the right beat for the actions. It was talked about on an NPR game show and they were joking that if you hated the song you might end up breaking the patient's sternum!

I was listening to the song Black Black Heart today and IMMEDIATELY that amazing video came to mind! :) Definitely the best Spike video ever made in my opinion as well.
