I've seen a few of these before but that last one really caught my attention. Spike/Lindsey is a pairing I want to read more of.

I've never read it myself, actually, so I think it must be hard to find. I have read a bit of Angel/Lindsey, which would make sense and there are some Tara/Lindsey fics around too.

I think with really good icons and artwork such as these they do such a good job to inspire people to write fic. And, of course, that works vice versa.

Oh, yeah. The angsty icons I reced previously post Gift inspired a lot of the pain in Forbidden, which I started writing again after a break. I think its my angstiest fic and its all based on cannon pain. Those icons influenced me. Art really does. Often if you see a really sexy icon of a ship you'd not considered, it opens it up for you.

I was about to be surprised there's much Tara/Lindsay given they hadn't met, but then they may have very similar backgrounds so I could see that as a common point to work with.

I think the appeal of the ship is he's a villain and she's so gentle yet firm. Probably the redeem angle. *g*
