The 2007 Wishlist

Just a reminder that 4 weeks from today buffyversetop5 will be open for all your 2007 recs. Essays, icons, archives, anything fan made that was active or created in 2007 are eligible.

Looking for particular sorts of recs? We’ve got a number of tag and memory categories so don’t forget to browse those. But this is a special post for people to let their fellow community members know what they’re hoping to get for the holidays.

Comment below with a line or two about what recs you’ve been hoping to see. If you see requests here that you could make a post about, start putting a Top 5 list together! The more people post, the more likely everyone will find what they’re looking for. Just remember, it must be fanmade Buffyverse or Firefly material created or continued in 2007.

Let’s not forget that one of the reasons for this community is to thank the creative people who have given us their work this year. Any Scrooge-like comments will be shown the door.

I'd love to see a list of Spuffy crossovers - maybe with Harry Potter or Twilight as the other fandom.

A list of the top Spuffy "claim fics" would be awesome too, as would a list of fics that feature both Spike/Buffy and Wesley/Fred.

I'd love to see a list of Xander centric fics, as well as Xander/Buffy or Xander/Dawn or Xander/Spike friendship fic lists. I don't even mind shippie lists for Bander, Spander and Dander. Though I'm sure we'll get a lot of Spander recs, I'm not so sure about Xander/Buffy and Xander/Dawn, though I wish to see at least a list about them.

It will be awesome to get a S8 centric fic list.

Recs I'd like to see would be Willow/Tara post-S6 AU fics, Willow/Kennedy (yes, I'm weird), Giles/Ethan with or without comics taken into consideration, and post-S7 Dawn-centric fics, again with or without the comics considered.

I know that Spike/Xander is probably going to be well represented, but there hasn't been too much mention so far, so I thought I'd throw my Top Five requests into the mix.

1. I would love to see Spike/Xander *completed* epic stories - lots of complications: love, hate, violence, plot, angst, hurt/comfort and happy endings.

2. Top Five Spike/Xander first-time stories.

3. Post Buffy Season Seven Spike/Xander fic - with or without Angel the Series plots.

And to break with tradition:
