Five classic Spuffy tales
These are the first Spuffy stories I had read back in 2002. I was lucky to discover amazing authors.
Worth A Thousand Words by Kantayra Post-Grave. Buffy finds Trio's surveillance tapes and gets a chance to revisit and rethink her relationship with Spike. Kantayra combines traditional plot devices - "second take" and "another angle" with very effective results. PG
Love Is Blind by Avalon. Post-FFL. Buffy is blinded by a demon and Spike takes the Trial to restore her eyesight. But The Trial turns out to be something different than both Buffy and Spike could expect. Very creative application of AtS mythology to BtVS characters. NC-17
Here Is Gone by Terri Botta. Post-Grave. Souled Spike is sent back to season 5 to fix everything he screwed up before. Inventive rewrite of season 5 in a "what if" mode. PG
Humanitis by Saber ShadowKitten. Middle of season 3. Spike suddenly becomes human and blames Buffy for it. Very funny with distinct "old skool" ambience. PG and NC-17 versions.
Walking After Midnight by Chelle. Season 4. Buffy is incapacitated by The Initiative and she needs a nurse. Spike is hiding from The Initianive and needs a cover. They can help each other... can they? NC-17
