Favorite shippy things from 2016
Five favorite shippy shorts from the past year, and one vid as a bonus.
very good bad thing by spangel. Cordelia's POV on Buffy. So accurate that it hurts.

beer_good_foamy (or AO3 link). Faith/Tara in the Wishverse, and it's surely the lightest and most hopeful Wishverse story I've ever read.
Slippery Steps bybrutti_ma_buoni. A bit of fluff and so needed hurt/comfort for season 6 Amy and Buffy; set during New Year's Eve.
The Replacement byfeliciacraft. A prime example of lighthearted spuffy crack!fic (where everyone still remains in-character) where Buffy makes herself a Spike!bot.
Incandescence bypunch_kicker15 (or AO3 link). Season 4 AU, where instead of pursuing Xander, Anya asks Tara for help with a spell. And now I wish it was canon, because Anya/Tara suddenly makes so much sense (and is so much likely to grant both of them a happy ending).

here comes my man by lucystonersix. A beautiful vid featuring most of the possible (or actual) buffyverse slash pairings, from Gunn/Wesley to Darla/Dru.
