I'll tell you a secret. Last year when I was putting together my lists for 2005 I had several categories where I had a lot to choose from and others where I had three or four items but not five because I hadn't read as much in that category. In the course of tracking down links I'd follow up on other recs or posts I hit and thus ended up finding and reading new fics because I was putting together a list. So I found it a great way to get myself to read new stuff :> And I also enjoyed my revisits to my choices this time too.
