Classics indeed. I think the only one I haven't read is the third one (though sometimes it takes me a while to realize I have actually seen something before!)

I adore the Butterfly Effect - I've a printed out copy that lives by my bed when I want to have something to pull the old heart strings. *sighs happily* Thanks for the other recs I think I've read them, but I can now stick them in memories for checking!

Affinity is wonderful! It was difficult to cut this list down to just five. There are so many wonderful fics out there! :)

Affinity is the only one I seem to have not yet read from that list. I've just bookmarked it so I check it out later. Perfect World and The Butterfly Effect are my two favorite fics by cousinjean, who remains one of my all time favorite Spuffy writers. Anaross' Long Day's Journey is fabulous, but my current favorite of hers is her current WIP - the post NFA where Spike is a college poetry instructor at a small, Eastern school. Eurydice's Legions' was quite engrossing and a marvelously woven past/present fic, but of her many wonderful fics the one I pull out again and again is A Touch of Frost.

My own list would have to include to include Barb C's Necessary Evils, but there's many worthy fics out there to choose from. We Spuffy readers have been/are incredibly fortunate to have such gifted and prolific writers sharing their Buffyverse stories.

I adore My Life Closed Twice! That's one that definitely needs to be rec'ed when buffyversetop5 opens for 2006 recs. It's probably my favourite fic of Ana's, and definitely my favourite fic this year. :)

I love all of Eurydice's fics. A Touch of Frost is wonderful!
