Well, there’s a lot of confetti to be swept up around here!

We wanted to thank everyone who posted here and thus made this idea work, everyone who commented and gave people a reason to keep posting, and the various people who have given us a hand here at Top 5 including the wonderful folks who helped us decorate amavel_bel, ruuger, and kathyh, and our associate mods petzipellepingo, crazydiamondsue, and frimfram who helped us get all those party platters out. Thanks bunches from both of us.


For those of you who are just popping in on this community for the first time, the bar is closed for now but will re-open on October 28 2006 for a 4-day Classic Recs weekend where any and all non-2006 material will be posted aplenty until Halloween is at an end. In the meantime, please look around!

You can access all the recs two ways. If you are browsing, try the Library view or the Memories list. If you’re looking for something specific you may want to go directly to the tag categories or through Memories.

The Community List remains open for additions anytime during the year as a place to pimp communities, new and continuing. If you're looking for places to join check out the list!

If you’d like to get the word out about Top 5 during this next year, have a look at our icons post and snag as many as you like. And if you just want to say hello or make suggestions for next year, please comment here. Whether or not we do a Top 5 2006 is up to you!

Thanks so much to you too Petzi for all your help and wonderful enthusiasm. I agree that it's certainly showed me how much stuff is going on outside the f-list. And that's great to see.
