Top 5 fics about Zoë
Zoë's strong, loyal, cunning, and one of the most kickass characters ever. And here are five stories from 2007 that reminded me why I love her so much:

ana_grrl, PG, gen. Ana paints outstandinly vivid snapshots of Zoë throughout the war with the Alliance and into her time on Serenity. It's a gorgeous exploration of character that completely captures the essence of all that is Zoë.
2) Vigil byvaleriebean, PG, gen. This short, poignant story is set right after the Big Damn Movie; it deals with Zoë's overwhelming grief and the beginning of its healing. This story also does a lovely job depicting the close bond and deep trust she has with Mal.
