I also recommend you to check I'll Be Home For Christmas by Lady Anne - another Groundhog Day-style Spuffy story.

I didn't include the rec into the initial post because the fic was written before 2006 - but it's another keeper. Middle of season 7, Buffy is intent to save Spike from The First and bring him home before Christmas.
